Rea Campbell

Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

Rea has a knack for easing the stress of business owners by helping them feel confident in their accounting and bookkeeping. She loves supporting entrepreneurs, getting to know each client’s goals and creating a plan to optimize their financial success. As one of the firm’s staff accountants, Rea specializes in preparing financial reports, organizing financial records and performing auditing services to ensure clients comply with local, state and federal regulations.

She believes the big picture should always be well-considered, but the details have the most impact. She works tirelessly to make sure every detail of her clients’ books and records is organized, up-to-date and accurate. This provides the client with a clear view of their financial situation and allows them to make the best decisions for their business.

Rea’s clients appreciate her upbeat, positive nature and dedication to thoroughly answering their questions. Rea enjoys reading about financial and business management strategies, so she always has well-informed answers and advice to offer her clients. With a diverse background in a variety of industries, Rea brings a unique perspective to every situation. Before pursuing a career in accounting, she worked in parks and recreation services, tourism management and customer service.

She began her career in the finance industry in 2015 working as the Senior Teller and Operations Manager for First Tennessee Bank. In 2017, she went to work for Kelsan Inc. as an Accounts Receivable/Data and Financial Management Specialist and began her role with Amelse & Edmonds in 2021.

Rea moved to Knoxville in 2004 not only to escape the cold temperatures of Maine but also to start and raise her family near the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Rea had a fondness for East Tennessee long before she moved to Knoxville. Growing up in Chicago, she would often visit East Tennessee to camp in the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys hiking the mountain trails, catching a live concert downtown, hanging out with her teenage sons Emmett and Silas or watching a game. On a collegiate level she cheers for the Vols, but when it comes to major league sports, she is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, White Sox and Blackhawks.

Rea is also a volunteer board member for the West High School Foundation and a volunteer at First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Knoxville.
